Subject: Notes 8 on Vista does not shut down properly
Feedback Type: Problem
Product Area: Notes 8 Client
Technical Area: User Interface
Platform: Windows Vista client
Release: Notes and Domino 8 - GOLD
Reproducible: Always
I run Notes 8 (standard config) on Windows Vista. Each time I shut it down, it leaves "notes2w.exe" and "eclipse.exe" still running in the memory (can be seen in the task manager). If I try to start Notes again without rebooting the whole PC, it will not start. I have to kill "notes2w.exe" in the task manager which triggers the big debug window with many oines of debug output to pop-up, which also takes "eclipse.exe" out of memory. I can reproduce this each time, and a friend of mind who also runs 8 on Vista has the same issue. Any solution to this one?
